LESSON 10 THEME: Witnesses of Christ 1. A
witness is one who sees something and tells it to another. The apostles were
called “Witnesses”. They saw what Jesus did, experienced his resurrection and
ask us to believe it. 2. As
Christians we need to be witnesses of Christ. Therefore we must know Jesus, hear
his Word, feel his love in our life and then tell others. 3. In
this way, we help Jesus to carry out his work. To witness to Jesus may take a
lifetime, but we make a start at Confirmation. At our Confirmation the Church
sends us out, as small as we are, to do this: And we can do it ina big way,
by the example we give to our friends, especially non-Christian, in what we
say and do. It should lead the non-Christian to say “this is a Christian
boy/girl!” |
