39. A song of homecoming

When the Lord ended our captivity

and brought us home to Jerusalem,

it seemed like a dream for us.

Our mouth was filled with laughter,

we could only shout with joy.

Then the other nations said:

The Lord has done great things for them!

Yes, the Lord has done great things for us,

We are overjoyed.
