FFC
stands for Faith Formation
for Children, a Committee formed by the Parish Priest Fr Vincent Chin to
look after the
Faith Formation of
the children in the St Peter’s Parish, in the Archdiocese of Kuching, and
whoever wishing to join our program.
St Peter’s Church, Padungan was built in the year 1949, the following lintel
hangs on the entrance of the Church since it was built.
FFC started in
January 2002 with 130 children and 11 Faith Formators (5 classes).
Celebrated its First
Decade in 2011 with 400 children and 40 Faith Formators working in the vineyard
of the Lord.
Today in the year
2011, we conduct religious instructions in 12 levels (12 classes from Kindy to
Sec 5) in English.
Over the years we’ve
Raised our Standards and Going into Deeper Levels to achieve our Objective -
“The Objective of the Faith Formation Program
is to endeavor to build a solid Faith Foundation of the children
so
that by the time they leave us, they will be ready for the world, to cling to
their Faith, practice their Faith,
to
search further on the true Faith and to be able to defend their Faith.”
