Trust in My Mercy

Jesus told Sister Faustina “The graces of My mercy are drawn by means of one vessel only, and that is - trust.” (Diary, 1578) The “signature: of the Divine Mercy Image “Jesus, I trust in you.” says it all, when we call on the name of Jesus, we acknowledge that He is our Lord and Saviour. The more we trust in Jesus, the more it will receive from Him. Jesus wants to give us much, very much if only we approach Him with absolute trust, he will “fill it with such an abundance of graces that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to other souls.” (1074)

Jesus rejoices when we ask much from Him with trust, “because it is My desire to give much, very much.” On the other hand, Jesus is “sad when souls ask for little, when they narrow their hearts.” (1578) God wants of us is to turn to Him with trust. To trust God is to rely on Him who is love and mercy, knowing that He is God who loves and takes care of us. In His conversations with Saint Faustina, Jesus reiterates that trust is the only means to draw graces from God. By trusting God boundlessly, we receive His unfathomable merciful love.

“Jesus, I trust in you.” capsulizes the Devotion to the Divine Mercy. Jesus wants to pour our mercy on all people, but only those who trust in Him will receive His graces and mercy.

♥ After a while, Jesus said to me, Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: Jesus, I trust in You. (47)

+ Today, I heard these words: The graces I grant you are not for you alone, but for a great number of other souls as well... He who trusts in My mercy will not perish, for all his affairs are Mine, and his enemies will be shattered at the base of My footstool. (723)

♥ Jesus is commanding me to make a novena before the Feast of Mercy, and today I am to begin it for the conversion of the whole world and for the recognition of The Divine Mercy... so that every soul will praise My goodness. I desire trust from My creatures. Encourage souls to place great trust in My fathomless mercy. Let the weak, sinful soul have no fear to approach Me, for even if it had more sins than there are grains of sand in the world, all would be drowned in the unmeasurable depths of My mercy. (1059).

♥ When I went for adoration, I heard these words: My beloved daughter, write down these words… Tell [all people]… that I am Love and Mercy itself. When a soul approaches Me with trust, I fill it with such an abundance of graces that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to other souls. (1074)

♥ Jesus: My daughter, do you think you have written enough about My mercy? What you have written is but a drop compared to the ocean. I am Love and Mercy itself. There is no misery that could be a match for My mercy, neither will misery exhaust it, because as it is being granted - it increases. The soul that trusts in My mercy is most fortunate, because I myself take care of it. (1273)

♥ Today the Lord said to me, I have opened My Heart as a living fountain of mercy. Let all souls draw life from it. Let them approach this sea of mercy with great trust. Sinners will attain justification, and the just will be confirmed in good. Whoever places his trust in My mercy will be filled with My divine peace at the hour of death. (1520)

♥ Let souls who are striving for perfection particularly adore My mercy, because the abundance of graces which I grant them flows from My mercy. I desire that these souls distinguish themselves by boundless trust in My mercy. I myself will attend to the sanctification of such souls. I will provide them with everything they will need to attain sanctity. The graces of My mercy are drawn by means of one vessel only, and that is - trust. The more a soul trusts, the more it will receive. Souls that trust boundlessly are a great comfort to Me, because I pour all the treasures of My graces into them. I rejoice that they ask for much, because it is My desire to give much, very much. On the other hand, I am sad when souls ask for little, when they narrow their hearts. (1578)

♥ My daughter, know that My Heart is mercy itself. From this sea of mercy, graces flow out upon the whole world. No soul that has approached Me has ever gone away unconsoled. All misery gets buried in the depths of My mercy, and every saving and sanctifying grace flows from this fountain. (1777)

♥ I desire that your heart be an abiding place of My mercy. I desire that this mercy flow out upon the whole world through your heart. Let no one who approaches you go away without that trust in My mercy which I so ardently desire for souls. (1777)

♥ Pray as much as you can for the dying. By your entreaties, obtain for them trust in My mercy, because they have most need of trust, and have it the least. Be assured that the grace of eternal salvation for certain souls in their final moment depends on your prayer. You know the whole abyss of My mercy, so draw upon it for yourself and especially for poor sinners. Sooner would heaven and earth turn into nothingness than would My mercy not embrace a trusting soul. (1777)

♥ Today, in the course of a long conversation, the Lord said to me, How very much I desire the salvation of souls! My dearest secretary, write that I want to pour out My divine life into human souls and sanctify them, if only they were willing to accept My grace. The greatest sinners would achieve great sanctity, if only they would trust in My mercy. The very inner depths of My being are filled to overflowing with mercy, and it is being poured out upon all I have created. My delight is to act in a human soul and to fill it with My mercy and to justify it. (1784)

My kingdom on earth is My life in the human soul. Write, My secretary, that I Myself am the spiritual guide of souls - and I guide them indirectly through the priest, and lead each one to sanctity by a road known to Me alone. (1784).
