Faith and the Gift of Christian Hope In Family and Society

We are inviting all faith formation lay-workers (religion teachers, RCIA facilitators, and catechists) in the archdiocese for a weekend reflection about the teaching ministry and its relationship to family and society.

Synopsis

Christian families today face all kinds of societal influences in education and work (e.g. technology and culture).  How should faith formators (religion teachers, RCIA facilitators, and catechists) in parishes and local communities respond to these forces and contribute to the building of families of faith?

This seminar seeks to identify and address (i) key issues facing parents and youths in society today, and (ii) the requirements of faith formation in parishes and homes to meet the needs of families.

The guiding spirit of this seminar is to give encouragement to religion teachers, catechists, and families – to remind all of us that it is our “Christian hope” that drives our mission and ministry forward.

This seminar is for religion teachers, RCIA Facilitators, and Catechists.  Those who are interested to know more about the faith-formation ministry are most welcome to participate.

Details and registration forms are now available at any local parish office in the archdiocese of Kuching.
